• Strain overview
What Is Blueberry?
Blueberry is one of the true originals — bred by legendary breeder DJ Short in the late 1970s from a cross of Afghani and Purple Thai landrace genetics. It won Best Indica at the 2000 High Times Cannabis Cup and remains a benchmark strain decades later, prized for its authentic sweet-berry flavor and smooth, relaxing effect. THC typically runs 16–24%, giving it real range across batches while staying manageable for most consumers. It's one of the strains we rotate through our New Jersey menu, so availability moves with each drop — the live menu is always the source of truth for what's in stock today.

Blueberry
Indica-Dominant Hybrid
Blueberry crosses Afghani, a landrace indica known for its dense structure and deeply relaxing effect, with Purple Thai, a sativa landrace known for its distinctive purple hues and sweet, fruity aromatics. DJ Short spent years stabilizing the cross specifically for authentic blueberry flavor rather than raw potency — a different breeding philosophy than most modern strains.
• The Sensory Profile
Aroma & Flavor
Blueberry delivers exactly what its name promises — an intense, authentic sweet berry aroma, backed by earthy depth and a light floral note. It's the strain that popularized "fruit-forward" as a category in cannabis, and it still holds up against modern candy-leaning hybrids.

Appearance & Cultivation Notes
We source our Blueberry from cultivators who honor its landrace heritage — real berry terpene expression, not a flattened modern imitation. Expect dense, compact buds with deep blue-purple hues, especially striking after proper curing.
Start with one small inhale, then wait a full 15 minutes before taking more with flower or vape. With edibles, wait two full hours before redosing. This is general information, not medical advice.
- Dense bud structure with classic deep purple-blue coloration
- Sourced from growers who preserve the strain's authentic berry terpene profile through careful curing
- Every batch lab-tested for potency and purity before it reaches your order
- Storage: Keep Blueberry in a cool, dark, airtight container to preserve both potency and its signature aroma.
